International Educational Missions, Inc.

International Educational Missions, Inc. (I.E.M.) was established in 1987, and is a non-profit, charitable and educational organization, recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501C-3 Agency.

Purposes

I.E.M. is established to:

1. Assist and act as an advocate for refugees throughout the world, including those who are victims of torture, war crimes and human rights abuses.

2. Be of assistance and act as an advocate for all federal agencies involved in actions against war criminals, torturers and perpetrators of human rights abuses.

In addition to being committed to the currently proposed Anti-Atrocity Act, and the Nazi War Criminal Act of 1978, I.E.M. is also determined to enlarge the scope of the International Tribunal for War Criminals in The Hague. There is no international venue for prosecuting war criminals and torturers other than Rwandans and those from the former Yugoslavia. Therefore, if the country where the act took place will not accept the person for prosecution, we cannot even deport him/her to face a trial for their heinous acts.

As a result, once the Anti-Atrocity Alien Deportation Act is in place our goals will be to educate the nation so that the United States will be able to:

· Instruct the U.S. Mission to The United Nations to seek expansion of The Hague War Crimes Tribunals from just Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia, to include Cuban, Nazi, Cambodian, Haitian, Iraqi and other War Criminals defined and designated by the Security Council.

· Have the U.S. Administration enter into an Agreement with Canada and Mexico that will safeguard borders from being crossed by these perpetrators and to ask that these countries consider implementing legislation similar to the Anti-Atrocity Alien Deportation Act.

· Continue to work for the protection of OSI and any other governmental unit established to rid this country of War Criminals and perpetrators of atrocities, until their task is completed.

In addition, it is our intention to seek the establishment of Holistic Rehabilitation Centers, in the United States and worldwide that would assist victims of torture, war crimes, and other human rights violations. Currently, only 160 such institutions exist in the world, with 15 of these in the United States. These centers provide various forms of assistance. The first one was established In Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1982.

Of the 15 centers that exist in the United States none are found in such dense refugee areas as Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and only counseling centers exist in the Washington, DC area. We will seek their establishment in these areas, in addition, we will seek to establish such institutions in nations throughout the world that are signatories to The International Convention Against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, such as Israel.

Disclosure of Federal Grants, Contracts, and/or Subcontracts

IEM has never had, or requested any federal grants, contracts or subcontracts. The MARICH Associates, Inc., a company owned by Richard Krieger, the President of IEM, also never had any Federal grants, contracts or subcontracts but had until 1998, an authorization from the United States Government to provide Citizenship Testing. MARICH received no funding from, had no contract with the U.S. Government, in connection with that program.
